Haiku Shuukan #7 ('18) Beach

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Not so long ago I was wandering along the beach. I was completely alone, it was warm, but no one was there ... So I decided to take of my clothes and take a skinny dip, all nude I ran into the surf. The water embraced me and welcomed me. It felt great ... of course I had to dry up, because I hadn't taken a towel with me. So I laid down on the warm sand feeling the sun on my body. After a while ... I don't know how long I felt that the sun was no longer warming me. As I opened my eyes I saw the most beautiful woman ever. She smiled at me and I could see that she enjoyed what she saw. Later that day we ended up at my apartment ...

Haiku Shuukan #6 use that quote ...

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

It has been a while that I challenged you here at Haiku Shuukan, part of the wonderful Carpe Diem Haiku Kai family of haiku poets. Recently I changed the theme at our "homepage" Carpe Diem Haiku Kai. I started this month with the Quran and now we are reading the wonderful poetry by Rumi, a 13th century Persian poet and mystic.

This week I love to challenge you to create a haiku or tanka inspired on a given quote. This time I have chosen a quote by Rumi.

Haiku Shuukan #5 ('18) Blue Moon

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

A new Haiku Shuukan episode to inspire you. This time a short one, but I think a challenging one. Maybe you know today we had a second full moon in January, that means that we had a so called "Blue Moon", but it was not only a Blue Moon, it also was a "Super moon" and a total moon eclipse occurred also ... sciebntists have called this event "trifecta". It's a very rare thing that has occurred.

So the theme for this week is "Blue Moon". And here is an example written by myself:

Haiku Shuukan #4 ('18) wonderful life

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Every post at our CDHK-family's weblogs I start with this sentence and I like that ... because all our participants are Haijin (haiku-poets), visitors who like Japanese poetry and than there are those people who just travel by to read. Isn't that a joy. I think this Haiku Shuukan episode speaks for itselves, because ... life at CDHK ... is wonderful.

Haiku Shuukan #3 ('18) Cold wind

Dear Haijin, visitors and travelers,

Welcome at a new episode of Haiku Shuukan, our weekly haiku-meme, and for this week I have chosen the theme "cold wind" , because here we have a very cold east-wind. It feels very cold, almost -10 degrees Celsius. Well it's winter of course and this cold wind is not a surprise.
